AI Is Only as Resilient as the Systems Beneath It
There is a question sitting quietly beneath many AI transformation strategies, rarely articulated and even less frequently stress-tested:
What happens when a critical system, one assumed to be stable, trusted, and always available, suddenly disappears for an extended period of time?
Not for a routine maintenance window. Not for a brief outage resolved before most users notice. But for weeks, or even months, long enough that the organisation is forced into manual workarounds, fragmented spreadsheets, improvised controls, and institutional memory to sustain core operations.
This question matters far more than many organisations currently acknowledge.
